Why does our puppy have runny poo?

Your puppy seems to have a very sensitive stomach. Some dogs can't eat certain dog foods, some dogs can't even eat cooked meat. You should make sure he does not eat fast, this can cause a huge stomach upset and could mess up his digestive system. When feeding him, try feeding him out of a "Kong" or hand feeding him slowly. Until he starts to eat slower, do not put his food bowl on the ground. His poop is running probably because his stomach is trying to get rid of something bad he ate. This isn't really a problem, but if his poop is still runny in the next few days take him to the vet. In this time make sure he drinks a lot to stay hydrated. If feeding him slowly doesn't work and his poop is still runny within the next few days you might want to change his dog food, but before you do, go to the vet to talk about your options.
