Will a nose piercing show if the stud is taken out?

Despite the fact that I'm now 24, my Mum is very against overly showy piercings or tattoos, mostly due to my getting married next year. As a result, I am abit hesitant about going ahead with getting my nose pierced! Can anyone tell me if the piercing will show when taking out the stud/ring, just for my wedding day, please?
