Do i have to be in agriculture( or FFA whatever its called) to be in a vet science cl in high school ?

i want to take a cl called vet science but a friend of mine told me that i have to be in agriculture (i think that's what the thingy is called)and she told me that i would of had to take agriculture as a freshman and i cant change . so does anyone know if i can take it ?
