I got a ps3 one month ago. Just recently i have noticed all the little tiny microscratches, is this uncommon?

I got my ps3 one month ago and just recently noticed ALL the little little tincy tiny microscrathces on it. None of these are really noticable unless ur 2 inches away and have a light on it. But there are a MILLION of em little tinny ones. Is this uncommon? if not thank god. How do i fix it?
