Is there such a thing as a house-trained chihuahua?

Other dog breeds absolutely. But as far as I can tell chihuahua owners seem to make do by controlling feeding/elemination times. By "house-trained" I mean showing a reluctance to soil house. Eleminating outside or using an indoor system of some kind pads etc. reliably. What do real live people say?
