Was my ex ever really truthful in his feelings for me?

Yeah, its horrible wondering if his feelings for you were real. You know what though....I don't believe in the word "used". If you got something out of your times with him, then that is all that matters. I believe he felt for you at that particular time, but he has changed now. Life never stands still, it doesn't mean that the special times you had with him were false. He has just moved on. All that needs to happen now is for you to move on. Don't worry about the past, remember the good times as they were...you both had feelings for each other and those times were wonderful. That is over now, so you really do need to move on.
